*Okay, so this isn’t technically wordless, but it is less words than usual!*

I am a sucker for birthdays. I personally think my birthday is by far the best day week of the year. Or at least I thought that up until three years ago.

Becoming a mother changes everything.

My sweet little boy will be turning 3 in just a couple of days. He gets excited about so many things lately and his birthday is no exception.

My husband was off work yesterday so we took advantage of the extra day and spent it as a family celebrating our little man. We went to an early dinner where he got to pick whatever he wanted off the menu. We then headed to Toys R Us and let him pick out his birthday present. He was so excited about all the neat toys, but he eventually decided on a train set that included a bridge. It will be the perfect addition to the trains and tracks he has at home and has really gotten into lately!

When we got home he was dying to open it up and start playing so we played trains as a family.

Such a great start to his birthday celebration!
